Linda Lam Kwan - Interim President and Chief Executive Officer, Director
Linda Lam Kwan is the CEO, an Executive Director and co-founder of Great Harvest Maeta Group Holdings Limited, a holding company for a group of companies engaged in the marine transportation sector. Ms. Lam is primarily responsible for the group's day-to-day management and overall business operations as well as its finance and administrative management. Ms. Lam is also a director of various private companies principally engaged in the trading and processing of mineral resources, investing in mineral resource companies and property investments. Ms. Lam also currently services as the Director of Pok Oi Hospital and a fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Directors. She graduated from Dongbei University of Finance and Economics in 1990 with a bachelor's degree in English for Finance from the Department of Foreign Language for Finance.
Will C. Burton - Chief Financial Officer
Will Burton (BBA, CA) has extensive experience in public company accounting and auditing. He received his CA designation in 2001 and worked previously as an audit manager with Deloitte & Touche LLP. Burton is currently CFO of MagIndustries Corp., which owns one of the largest undeveloped potash deposits in the world, in the Republic of Congo.
Patrick Merrin - Chief Operating Officer
Patrick Merrin (P. Eng, MBA) holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from McGill University and a Master's of Business Administration from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Business. He is a metals and mining executive with more than 15 years of operations, business and engineering experience in multiple countries. His background includes management and executive-level positions with Xstrata Nickel and metals manufacturer Lucas Milhaupt (Handy & Harman), working in both Canada and Europe. Mr. Merrin's leadership positions built on his earlier experience as both a zinc and copper smelter process engineer, and senior plant metallurgist. Mr. Merrin has also held progressively senior mine foreman roles with Hudbay Minerals Inc. operations in Flin Flon, Canada.
Gustaaf Kooiman - Consultant (Mine Geologist)
Gustaaf Kooiman (MSc, Geology) has been an exploration geologist for four decades, focusing on tin, tungsten and rare metals.  He worked as a geologist in Africa with Billiton throughout the 1970s.  He became Billiton's chief mine geologist at Mount Pleasant in 1980 and, later, the project geologist for Lac-Billiton's Mount Pleasant tin project until 1988.  He has since consulted for companies that include East Kemptville Tin Mine, Piskahegan Resources and (from 1995 onward) Adex. Kooiman owns a small woodlot near his home in St. George, NB, where he practises sustainable forestry and enjoys strolls with his family.
Roger Young - Site Manager
Roger Young of Canal, NB, is the longest serving member of the Adex team. He began working at Mount Pleasant in 1981 as an underground mechanic following a career as a heavy-duty mechanic for Dynatec Mining Limited, NB. He took employment with Billiton in 1982 and, in 1995, with Adex. Young officially serves as site manager, but his property experience makes him the go-to person for a wide range of onsite requirements. He relaxes by sailing his pontoon boat along quiet waterways of the Magaguadavic River system.
Allen Stevens - Security Personnel
Allen Stevens of Second Falls, NB, joined Adex in 2003 after spending two decades in the aquaculture business. He presently serves at the Mount Pleasant mine site as a security guard, equipment operator and maintenance worker. Stevens is Adex's resident naturalist and has compiled an impressive list of local bird species.
Phil Baker - Security Personnel
Phil Baker currently resides in Red Rock, NB, after having travelled for years around the world as a crew member on oil tankers and other vessels. In 2006 he began working with Adex at Mount Pleasant, where he shares security and various related duties with Allen Stevens. Baker is a quiet but interesting raconteur with many stories of his days at sea.
