Management Team
J. Errol Farr, CMA
President, Chief Executive Officer and Director
Mr. Farr is a seasoned executive with expertise in finance, accounting and operations. With over fifteen years of experience with publicly listed junior mining companies, he has worked with MagIndustries Corp., Tribute Minerals and Dumont Nickel, as well as numerous consulting assignments. Mr. Farr has been involved with Adex Mining since its acquisition of Mount Pleasant in 1995 and is highly familiar with and knowledgeable about the property. Mr. Farr studied at Queen's University and received his CMA designation in 1990.

Will C. Burton, BBA, CA
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Burton serves as the Chief Financial Officer of the Company, and has extensive public company accounting and audit experience. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Wilfred Laurier University and received his Chartered Accountant designation in 2001. Mr. Burton also serves as Acting Chief Financial Officer of MagIndustries Corp. and previously worked as an audit manager with Deloitte & Touche LLP.

Victor Hendricken, BA, MA
Mount Pleasant Operations Manager
Mr. Hendricken has more than 25 years of direct, hands-on experience in hard-rock and potash mining and milling operations. He oversaw and managed the design, equipment procurement and construction of the Beaver Brook Antimony Mine in Newfoundland. He managed and upgraded process operations at a former Ontario graphite producer, as well as at New Brunswick’s Durham Mines antimony concentrator, where he achieved a critical production increase.  He was a key figure in coordinating the start-up of the Equity Silver Mines concentrator and hydrometallurgical leach plant in British Columbia.  Mr. Hendricken was also Mill General Foreman when the Mount Pleasant Mine operated in 1984–85, during which time he established production parameters and oversaw mineral recovery and hydrometallurgical plant operations. 

Dr. Trevor Boyd, PhD, PGeo
Project Manager for Exploration and Drilling
Dr. Boyd is a professionally designated geologist with two decades of resource-industry experience. Since 1987, he has worked for numerous mining companies including Noranda, Falconbridge, Westmin Resources and Tri Origin Exploration. He has also lectured in economic geology at York University. Dr. Boyd is a qualified person ("QP") for the purposes of National Instrument 43-101 - Standards of Compliance for Mineral Projects of the Canadian Securities Administrators. Dr. Boyd earned his PhD in geology from the University of Toronto.

J. Dean Thibault, PEng, MSc
Senior Consultant - Metallurgy and Environmental Planning
A member of the Association of Professional Engineers of the Province of New Brunswick, Mr. Thibault has worked or consulted with Billiton/Royal Dutch Shell, Gulf Canada, Inco Smelter Division, Iron Ore Co. of Canada, Syncrude, Rio Tinto and Tiberon Resources. His areas of expertise include the development of mineral extraction flowsheets and environmental management plans as well as design and construction of metallurgical facilities. Mr. Thibault holds an MSc in chemical engineering and a BSc in transition metal chemistry, both from the University of New Brunswick.

Gustaaf Kooiman
Mine Geologist
Mr. Kooiman has over 38 years of experience in the exploration and mining of mineral deposits.  His main interests are tin, tungsten and rare metal deposits.  From 1971 until 1988 he worked for several Billiton companies, first as Resident Geologist of a large underground tin mine in Zimbabwe and later as a senior exploration geologist working in South Africa in the search for tin-tungsten deposits.  He came to Canada in 1980 and took up the position of Chief Mine Geologist of the Mount Pleasant Tungsten Mine.  After the closure of the tungsten mine in 1985 he became the project geologist of the Lac-Billiton tin project at Mount Pleasant.  In 1989 he became a consulting geologist working for several junior and major companies, including Rio Algom, East Kemptville Tin Mine, Novagold and Piskahegan Resources at Mt. Pleasant.  Mr. Kooiman has been involved with all exploration activities of Adex since 1995.  He holds a BSc and MSc in Geology of the Free University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Andrew Hara, PEng
Principal of Hara-Mining Enterprises Inc.
Mr. Hara (Harasimowicz) has over 30 years of broad international mining experience with a proven track record of success.  He worked in production, engineering and management with a number of mining companies as Denison Mines, Falconbridge, Polish Copper Mines, and at Noranda as a Director of Mining.  Mr. Hara's work experience covers a variety of roles in management, operations, project start-ups, engineering and mine design.  He has extensive international mining experience through work assignments including due diligence, planning and feasibility studies and mine evaluations in numerous countries including North and South America, Europe, Australia, Africa, and Asia.

Alan T. Marshall, MBA
Chairman of the Board
Mr. Marshall is a faculty member of the School of Business and Economics at Wilfred Laurier University.  He teaches finance to MBA and BBA students, including a course in advanced corporate finance. Mr. Marshall has also taught professional courses for the Society of Management Accountants. He holds an MBA with concentrations in finance and operations management.  

William B. Burton, BSc (Hon), Geology
Director, Technical Advisor
A former President and CEO of Adex Mining, Mr. Burton brings extensive historical knowledge, technical expertise and experience with end-user customer relationships to Adex. He has worked extensively with a number of publicly traded mining and industrial companies and is currently President, CEO and a director of MagIndustries Corp. (TSX: MAA). Mr. Burton is also a director of Erdene Gold Inc. (TSX: ERD).

Norman Betts, PhD, FCA
Director
A seasoned businessman, politician and academic, Dr. Betts is a former Minister of Finance and Minister of Business for New Brunswick. He is an Associate Professor, Faculty of Business Administration, at the University of New Brunswick and is a Fellow of the New Brunswick Institute of Chartered Accountants (FCA). Dr. Betts chairs the Board of Starfield Resources Inc. (TSX) and serves on the boards of Tembec Inc. (TSX), Tanzanian Royalty Exploration (TSX, AMEX), Chairman Capital Inc. (TSX-V), New Brunswick Power Corporation and Export Development Canada. In addition, he is co-chair of the Board of Trustees of the UNB Pension Plan for Academic Employees and is a director of the Nature Conservancy of Canada for the Atlantic region. He holds a PhD in management from the School of Business at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario.
 
Kabir Ahmed, MBA, LLB
Director
Mr. Ahmed has been a successful corporate and securities lawyer for over a decade. As former President and CEO of Adex Mining, Mr. Ahmed was responsible for reviving the company, listing its common shares on the TSX Venture Exchange, and re-capitalizing its treasury. In addition, over an 18-month period, Mr. Ahmed worked to prepare the company’s Mount Pleasant Property for feasibility level studies, with a view to re-commencing mineral production. For the past six years, he has focused on taking junior mineral exploration companies public and subsequently enabling them to create shareholder value. Mr. Ahmed was the founding CEO of Southampton Ventures Inc. (TSX-V: SV) and is also a former independent director of RNC Gold Inc. (TSX: RNC), which was subsequently sold to Yamana Gold (TSX: YRI). He holds an LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School and an MBA in corporate finance from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
